Wilderness Trips
Wilderness trips are an important part of the overall Camp program. Middler and Senior campers venture out on two, three and four day trips to northern New Hampshire and Maine. While these trips are an optional component of the William Lawrence experience, campers are encouraged to try one as these trips are an enormous contributor toward character development.
Our Tripping Program
William Lawrence Camp's out-camping program is second to none. Thanks to our proximity to countless destinations in New Hampshire and Maine, every year we have new trips available to us. A combination of hikes and canoe trips are offered to our middlers and seniors with excursions to the Androscoggin River, Mount Washington, Richerdson Lake, the Sandwich Range, the Saco River, Umbagog Lake, Carrigain Mountain, Moat Mountain, Black Mountain, Squam Lake, Mount Chicorua, and many others. All of our trip leaders are Maine Trip Leader Certified and each brings a unique enthusiam to our trips. Each camping experience allows our campers to rekindle a love of nature and develop a new-found respect for the ecosystem. With so many trips going out each session, a camper has all the opportunities to go. Find your adventure this summer with our tripping program! |
