William Lawrence is an overnight summer camp for boys in New Hampshire. We offer a nature-based program filled with activities that allow our boys experiences they can’t find in school and help them to learn and grow as young men.
Every aspect of our day is built around our four cornerstones: Willingness, Loyalty, Comradeship and Sportsmanship. These cornerstones are lovingly dubbed William Lawrence Camp Spirit or WLCS.

William Lawrence Camp is device-free in order to allow your son to engage in face-to-face conversations and build meaningful relationships with his peers, as well as explore new hobbies, develop outdoorsmen skills, and engage in unstructured play.
The lack of electricity in our cabins builds a sense of community, a sense of unity and shared experience among campers. Campers also learn problem-solving skills, adapt to different situations, and become more resourceful, which are valuable life skills.
Among our diverse activity options, there are elements of adventure and exploration, such as archery, camping, and our ropes courses, which can be both fun and challenging, allowing campers to connect with the natural world and test their limits.
My older son has been attending WLC since the summer he turned 10, 2017. He has the best time at camp and never wants to leave. He has gained so much independence and maturity during his summers at camp. This summer he is at camp as a “leader in training” while his 8yo brother is FINALLY old enough to join him at WLC. All those summers of dropping off his big brother and it’s finally his turn! To say he was excited is an understatement! Summer at WLC is incredible.
Our camp offers a variety of lengths of stay, but we highly recommend our full sessions to truly immerse campers in the full experience, providing ample time for personal growth, skill development, and the formation of deep friendships. Learn more on our Enrollment Information page.
Our 1-Week Starter Program is only available for first-time campers entering 3rd-6th grade. We do not encourage 1-week sessions but understand that some younger campers may be nervous about their first sleep-away experience. Please call Camp for more information.
